Description
Ladies mantle is a widespread plant, easily recognizable by its large, serrated, fan-shaped leaves. Its name derives from the Latin for its use by alchemists in their search for the philosopher’s stone: they used the morning dew that settles on the leaves to extract gold. Its hydroalcoholic extract has long been known for its beneficial effects in combating menstrual disorders and promoting regular bowel movements.
